Nick Garofoli and Ashley Flann Appointed to Co-Leadership Roles at RCare
We are excited to announce the long-anticipated co-leadership appointment of Nick Garofoli and Ashley Flann to CEO and COO respectively.
“This transition has been in the works for over a year,” said RCare owner Jeffrey Knauss. “Ashley and Nick are a powerful duo and will continue to lead the RCare vision of purposeful innovation and growth.”
Nick Garofoli, a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and University of Hartford MBA graduate, entered RCare over four years ago as the VP of Operations & Technology. He was selected due to his proven track record of holistic business management and risk mitigation.
“I am honored to be named RCare’s CEO,” said Garofoli. “It is a privilege to lead such a passionate and dedicated group into the future of healthcare technology. We don’t take our role in the nurse call space for granted and are excited at the opportunity to improve the lives of those using RCare’s technology.”
Ashley Flann was recruited to RCare for her expertise and vision in sales and marketing. She has an MBA from St. John Fisher University, and a diverse background that includes training, marketing and sales. While the titles are new, the day-to-day of RCare under Garofoli and Flann will continue on mostly unchanged. Jeff Knauss, who purchased RCare two years ago, will remain as owner and president.
“I am proud of what we are building and how it has a positive impact on long-term care communities,” shared Flann. “I look forward to developing our network of distributor partners and maintaining RCare’s position as a top trusted provider of nurse call services in the industry.”
RCare has had a particular focus on hardening the product to ensure top-notch performance, quality and reliability. The past two years have seen unprecedented growth in RCare’s market share and brand credibility solidifying them as a market leader in the LTPAC nurse call and monitoring industry.
Together, Garofoli and Flann will continue to lead RCare as an industry leader in reliability, support and innovation.
